Overview of Pregnant Women's Knowledge About Acupressure Massage to Reduce Nausea and Vomiting

Acupressure is now widely known in Indonesia. The mechanism of action of acupressure is known based in China. Massage is a habit that is familiar to the people of Indonesia, and has been rooted and developed widely for hundreds of years. Aims to eliminate complaints or illnesses suffered, especially in pregnant women who experience nausea and vomiting in Indramayu Hospital, Indramayu Regency in 2023. This type of research used is descriptive research, the population of pregnant women in January - May 2023 is 425 people, Accidental sampling technique Sampling amounted to 81 respondents. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire totaling 21 statements. The results of the study showed that pregnant women's knowledge of acupressure massage to reduce nausea and vomiting was carried out on 81 respondents who had less knowledge in the category of 47 respondents (58 0%). Knowledge-based on the understanding of Acupressure Massage in the less category amounted to 47 respondents (58.0%). Based on the method in the less category, there were 47 respondents (58.0%). Based on the benefits in the Less category, there were 47 respondents (58.0%). The conclusions obtained are that some pregnant women who have less knowledge are expected to have health workers as educators in providing health education and counseling. By way of counseling on pregnancy checks or by conducting outreach.
