The Effect of Self-Hypnosis on Mental Disorders in Adolescent Girls

Difficulties in accessing health services can increase the vulnerability of adolescent girls to emotional disorders. Self-hypnosis therapy is a technique to program thoughts on oneself that can be used to prevent emotional disorders in adolescent girls. This research is a pre-experimental study using a one-group pre-test and post-test design with the same respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The research sample was santri in Asrama As-Shofwa Pondok Pesantren Salafiiyah Syafi'iyah Sukorejo Situbondo totaling 44 respondents. The study used the self-report questionnaire-29 (SRQ-29). Data analysis using the Wilcoxon test. From the normality test, the pre-test result was 0.029 and the post-test result was 0.019. The results of the study averaged mental-emotional disorders in adolescents before treatment 12.04 and after treatment 8.48. There is a decrease in emotional disturbance in adolescent girls with an average difference of 4.58
