Case Study: Nursing Care of a Patient with Hypovolemia

Acute Gastroenteritis (GEA) is an inflammation that occurs in the stomach, small intestine, and large intestine, this disease is caused by pathogenic viruses and parasites. The case study aims to carry out nursing care for GEA patients with hypovolemia. The methodology used in this case study is descriptive in the form of a case study to explore nursing care at Kartini Hospital. Data collection through interviews, observation, physical examination, and documentation. The data analysis used is data collection, data reduction, data review, and conclusions. Nursing problems include hypovolemia, diarrhea, and nutritional deficits. Intervention and implementation are carried out according to the patient's needs, where on the third day of the evaluation obtained, the problem is resolved, by the objectives and criteria for the results obtained.
