Focus and Scope
The Journal of Nursing Studies provides direct open access to its content to all readers. Articles in the Journal of Nursing Studies contain developments and research in the fields of Nursing, and maternal and child health.
The Journal of Nursing Studies accepts manuscripts of original research articles, reviews, clinical cases, research letters, and letters to the editor, including:
The scope of this journal is broadly multi-perspective in the field of nursing such as Nursing Education, Clinical Practice, Public Health Services, Health Management and Systems, Health Informatics, and Transcultural Nursing. JNS is committed to communicating and openly discussing ideas, facts and problems related to health in various nursing disciplines.

Peer Review Process
Submitted manuscripts will be checked by an editor for suitability for our focus and scope or for major methodological flaws within four weeks. Staff will check whether the requirements are complete within one week. Authors will be given two weeks after the notification is sent to complete any incomplete requirements. Failure to complete will result in the manuscript being rejected without review.
The manuscript is checked by the Editor. The manuscript was reviewed by two members. Reviewers come from various institutions with their respective expertise. Submitted papers are evaluated by double-blind peer review.
The results of the manuscript review are:
Accepted without correction,
Revised with minor corrections,
Revised with many corrections, and
Corresponding authors are given the opportunity to improve articles based on suggestions received from reviewers. Certain information about whether an article is accepted and published or rejected is given to the sending author in writing. The duration of the review process can be up to 3 months. If the author does not fulfill this process within 6 months, the publisher has the right to terminate it.
Publication Frequency
The Nursing Scientific Journal is published regularly (three times a year), in February, June, and October.
Open Access Policy
The journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All articles published in Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. We continually work with our author community to select the best licensing option: Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA)
Filing
The journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and allows those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

A rigorous, double-blind peer review process is followed, with an emphasis on promoting ethical and scientific excellence in all published articles. Publisher's Duties
The publisher of the Nursing Scientific Journal is responsible for publishing manuscripts that have gone through the editing, review, and layout process following the publishing rules of Scientific Journals.
The publisher of the Nursing Scientific Journal is responsible for ensuring academic freedom for the editors and Mitrabestari in carrying out their respective duties.
The publisher of the Journal of Nursing Studies is responsible for maintaining privacy and protecting intellectual property and copyright, as well as editorial freedom.
Editor's Duties
The Editor of the Journal of Nursing Studies is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are suitable for publication through editorial board meetings which refer to applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism.
In the process of reviewing and accepting manuscripts, the editorial team of the Journal of Nursing Studies adheres to the principle of equal treatment in making decisions to publish manuscripts without distinguishing between the race, gender, religion, ethnicity, nationality or political ideology of the author.
The editor and editorial team of the Journal of Nursing Studies will not disclose any information about the submitted manuscript or manuscript except with permission from the author.
Unpublished manuscripts will not be used by the Journal of Nursing Studies research editor for their own purposes and will be returned directly to the author.
Duties of Bestari Partners
Mitra Bestari Journal of Nursing Studies (Jurnal of Nursing Studies) assists editors in making editorial decisions on incoming manuscripts.
Mitra Bestari Journal of Nursing Studies is responsible for recommendations for the manuscripts it reviews.
The review of the manuscript is carried out objectively, and is supported by clear arguments.
Mitra Bestari Journal of Nursing Studies is responsible for quotations, references, duplication, data fabrication, data falsification and plagiarism in the manuscripts it reviews.
Bestari Journal of Nursing Studies partners must always maintain the confidentiality of information and not use information from the manuscripts they review for personal gain/interest.
Writer's Duties
Authors must present manuscripts resulting from their thoughts or research clearly, honestly, and without duplication, data fabrication, data falsification, and plagiarism.
The author is responsible for the confirmation provided for the manuscript that has been written.
The author must indicate references to the opinions and works of other people cited.
Authors are required to write manuscripts ethically, honestly and responsibly, in accordance with applicable scientific writing regulations.
The author does not mind if the manuscript undergoes editing during the review and layout process without changing the substance or main idea of the writing.
Plagiarism Check
The Journal of Nursing Studies does not accept any form of plagiarism in submitted manuscripts. The editor of the Journal of Nursing Studies will screen all submitted manuscripts for plagiarism using the Turnitin plagiarism checker. Plagiarism checking will be carried out at least twice: immediately after the manuscript is submitted to the journal, and again after final checking before publication. Authors are expected to ensure minimal similarity; however, similarities exceeding 20% will not be tolerated. Any manuscript that fails to meet these requirements will be returned to the corresponding author for correction.
Copyright Transfer Agreement
Authors who publish manuscripts in the Nursing Scientific Journal agree to the following conditions:
Copyright in each manuscript belongs to the author.
The author acknowledges that the Journal of Nursing Studies has the right to be the first to publish under a Creative Commons Attributions-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
Authors may submit articles separately, arranging non-exclusive distribution of manuscripts that have been published in this journal into other versions by acknowledging that the manuscript has been first published in the Journal of Nursing Studies.

The article processing fee for publication in the Nursing Scientific Journal is IDR 0,- (FREE)
