Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is compression of the median nerve in the wrist that causes pain, tingling, numbness, and weakness along the median nerve pathway. CTS is a risk factor for online motorcycle taxi drivers because respondents experience tingling in the hands such as palms / thumbs, index fingers and middle fingers during work. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to CTS among online ojek drivers in Serang Regency. This research is quantitative with a cross sectional design. All respondents were online motorcycle taxi drivers in the Serang area as many as 78 respondents. The tool used is a questionnaire with a Phalen test. Based on chi-square analysis, there was a significant relationship between length of service and CTS complaints (Pv = 0.044). Meanwhile, there was no relationship between age with CTS (Pv = 0.522), BMI with CTS (Pv = 0.661), length of work with CTS (Pv = 0.044), and length of work with CTS (Pv = 0.517). Based on the results of the study, online motorcycle taxi drivers who experienced CTS complaints were 30 (38.5%) respondents. The dominant factor causing CTS complaints is length of service. This study suggests that online motorcycle taxi drivers manage risk by using special PPE gloves to prevent CTS.
